We welcome committed students including those who have attained a level 4 qualification, school leavers and mature students
Students will complete work experience in a variety of office environments, including banking, insurance, finance or in any business where administration and customer service skills are required
The Business Administration course is designed to make the transition to a level 6, 7, or 8 business degree courses easier. The modules on this course have been selected with this in mind.
Learning will be gained on this course through extra curriculal activites and events organised both within the college and outside activities. These will give students an opportunity to develop skills such team work, communications, and time management.

A large proportion of students from this course use it as a progression route to NCI, each year. The National College of Ireland (a state funded College) is in the IFSC, Dublin 1. Marino College of Further Education has a direct link with NCI which offers guaranteed entry for our students who achieve the required grades.
Also, graduates from this course will have skills necessary for employment in business administration in finance, banking, insurance, public service and many other businesses including those in the nearby IFSC.
The Business Administration course is also used as a stepping stone for progression to our level 6 Project Management or Supervisory Management Courses in Marino College of Further Education. Graduates may use this course as a progression route to third level Universities and Institutes of Technology. Marino College has a direct progression link for access to all degrees programmes in the National College of Ireland. Past students have said "progression to NCI, DIT, DCU was much smoother than expected as many of the modules are tailored to help students to adapt to Higher Education. Progression to DIT to study their range of business degrees is also a popular choice. The range of modules and skills undertaken also means that progression into the workplace is a very popular choice.
