AwardQQI Level 6 Health Service Management - 6M4978
We welcome students with a prior Level 5 award in a health related or business area eg Health Service Skills, Medical Administration, Nursing, Business Studies, Dental Nursing etc and mature students with experience in the healthcare/administrative profession or through relevant life or work experience.
This course is delivered through a blended learning approach which is a combination of classroom and online learning. Each student must allocate two hours per week for online learning at a time that is suitable to them.
Course requirements for Blended learning
Each student participating in the blended learning course must have:
Access to the use of a laptop/PC/tablet
Google Chrome is the recommended browser
Good internet connection.

Students will undertake work experience on an ongoing basis in a Health Administration setting of their choice.
This course will enable potential students to acquire the knowledge skills and competencies required to work independantly and undertake supervisory management or practice management roles in a wide range of health service settings and provide enhanced opportunities for progression in Healthcare employment.

This course will allow graduate students enhanced opportunities for progression in healthcare employment and progression to awards at higher levels on the National Framework of Qualifications and to advance their skills allowing promotion within administration or management in the caring/healthcare profession.
