Aims The aim of this course is to give students both a theoretical grounding in current media practice at an advanced level, as well as providing them with a range of practical skills relevant to a variety of media such as Photography, Film/TV and Writing.
The theoretical element of the course will assist students in developing a range of analytical skills which will enable them investigate and understand media issues such as the production of media, the effect on audiences, ethics and standards and the regulation of media both past and present.
The practical side of the course will assist students in producing marketable photographs, writing scripts for film and TV and producing short films.
