This course is designed for individuals who wish to pursue a career in arts administration. On completion of this course students will be equipped with the skills to work in the arts in an administrative capacity such as arts festival managers, community arts centres, theatres, gallery assistants or curators, theatre and film production co-ordination.
Students will experience working with art materials such as digital photography techniques and painting, as well as learning core administrative skills and event management techniques.
Leaving Certificate level or relevant experience recognised.
All applicants will be interviewed.

It is envisaged that students will undertake work placement within the industry in their specific field on a weekly basis throughout the year. Students will also undertake administrative duties on both the Five Lamps Arts Festival and the Five Lamps Theatre Company which are initiatives of Marino College of Further Education.
