MEDICAL SECRETARIAL & ADMINISTRATION STUDIES(Course

Aims This course prepares students for a career in an administrative capacity in the health service working in areas with a wide variety of duties and responsibilities such as the smooth running of the hospital clinic; reception duties, appointments, maintaining
files, recording information on database; and word processing. Developing communication skills and preparing students to deal with the needs of clients/patients are important elements of the course.
Entry Requirements Leaving Certificate standard including
Leaving Certificate Applied. All applicants will be interviewed.
