MEDICAL SECRETARIAL & ADMINISTRATION STUDIES(Course
no. 136) Duration: One year full-time course - FETAC Level 5 Award BBSXX
Aims This course aims to prepare students to work in an administrative capacity in all areas of office work with an emphasis on working in the health sector. Many of our students obtain work in Hospitals, with GPs and Health Centres. Others opt to progress to diploma/degree ccourses in other colleges and universities. From this course we have a direct link with the National College of Ireland and the Advanced Certification in Administration (FETAC Level 6) course at Marino College.
Entry Requirements Leaving Certificate standard including
Leaving Certificate Applied. All applicants will be interviewed.

Future Prospects There are excellent employment opportunities
both in the private and public areas of the health services
sector. Graduates secure jobs in the Health Board and
Community Care areas.
