Marino College students participate in a wide variety of sporting activities including gaelic football, basketball, soccer, athletics, swimming, table tennis, rounders and cross country running. Marino College has an excellent record in schools competitions and is well known for fielding strong teams in many events especially basketball and soccer.

Students may also take part in cultural visits, field trips and school tours. The College also has a very active outdoor education programme that includes hill walking, rock climbing and orienteering in the Wicklow mountains as well as canoeing on the Blessington lakes.
