Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to Marino College. It is a privilege to serve as Principal of Marino College and to be part of a culture rich in academic excellence as well as pastoral care. Our students are the heart of our school. Every member of our school pastoral team, guided by strength and kindness, endeavours to enable each student to reach their own individual potential.

Our staff focus on providing quality teaching and learning for all our students through our various curricular, extra-curricular and co-curricular opportunities. Our teachers provide engaging and relevant educational experiences as we continue to prepare our students for college and/or careers.

Marino College has always had an eye to the future. In 2015, we won the Bronze Digital Schools Award. We have actively pursued this Digital Future for our students by introducing IPAD learning and launching our PTECH programme. To ensure that our PTECH programme is unrivalled, we have developed our unique Digital Maker Space Room with the most up to date technology.

But our recent developments are not just technological. Over the summer of 2020, we became an Eco School. This involved upgrading the school windows and heating system to make our school ecologically sound. We also recently received confirmation that we have funding for a new Science lab. We are also very proud that we have earned the PIETA House, Amber Flag for mental and emotional wellbeing awareness.

We very much encourage parental and community involvement in the school as we feel this is an integral part of our success. The whole school community works together to ensure our students come first in everything we do. We encourage parents to become involved in school life – their support, suggestions and concerns are very important to us and we truly appreciate their input.

Marino College is very proud to have a broad family of partners. Our Business Partners,
Investec, IBM, Irish Water and Virgin have helped our pupils adapt and excel in the World of Work through mentorship and skill development. Other community partners include NCI, Junior Achievement, Jigsaw, ELI and many more...
